Remembering the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ

It's Black Saturday today. Early in the morning I popped in The Passion of the Christ DVD, which I've watched countless times. I never get tired watching this film. Everytime, I cry my heart out from the very beginning they started whipping Him mercilessly up until He died on the cross. Every single time in between the sobs all I can say is "I am so sorry Jesus, I am truly sorry, please forgive me for hurting You. I am no different from these Jews & Roman soldiers".

My heart is just so heavy. Kind of like the same thing you feel during a breakup or during a very sad moment in your life like it's going to explode. As I am still deeply touched while I am writing this, one thing that's clear on my mind right now is that with all the sacrifices that He has done for us, I question myself on how could I still fall astray and occassionally forget what Jesus has done for the good of all mankind? How can I complain about things when they don't happen the way I expect them to? All these are nothing, as in NOTHING compared to what He has gone through, just to redeem us, His people.

How can I be an ungrateful child by missing a few Sunday Mass, the time of the week that we receive the Holy Eucharist together with His people who worship & believe His Word?

I feel like an idiot, a shameless sinner. I am soooo sorry po our Lord Jesus, pls forgive me.

"Lord Jesus, in memory of your Passion to the Cross, for the greatest love You've unselfishly given us, please forgive us for whatever heartaches we have caused You. We need your constant guidance to do what is right to make this world a better place to live in. Please use us to glorify Your love and proclaim Your goodness to the world. I pray this in the name of The Father, of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen."
